It seems such a waste of time
If that’s what it’s all about
If that’s movin’ up then I’m movin’ out.

Tomorrow morning, in fact! Two trailers and various family members should arrive around 8:00AM, to pack up our shit and head for town. Tomorrow promises to be the longest day of my life...

We will be without telephone service for the next 7 days, at least. We'll have our cell phones, but that's it. I can't wait. I hate telephones. However, we will also be without internet service. I'm not thrilled with that idea, but I will survive. I mean, if it comes right down to it, I'll be living 7 whole tenths of a mile from my work computer!

Caution: What you are about to see could possibly be the most stagnant website on earth! I mean, this dude hasn't so much as changed a single item since, like, 1994!

I'm going to bed now. Sunshine, rainbows and lollipops to you all.

You say smile I say cheese
Cartier I say please
Income tax I say Jesus
I don't want to be a candidate for
Vietnam or Watergate
'cos all I wanna do is...

Bicycle! An explanation follows:

The final appraisal came through yesterday. Due to some hasty, last-minute heroics by my father, Deb and my wife, we made it! The gutters are on, the windows are glazed, and we're all set to close today at 1PM. I am literally this close >-< to having a mortgage...Yay me!

We went to the wonderful world of Wally last night and bought a lawn mower and a bicycle. Steve hauled them in his pickup to the new house (thanks again, Steve). I got them all assembled, and rode the bike up the street to air up the tires. Today, I drove my Jeep to the new house, and rode the bike to work. It's seven-whole-tenths of a mile. I'm ecstatic about that, yes I am. I'm going to mow the lawn tonight, too. That, I'm not nearly excited about, but it's certainly not the task it is where I currently reside.

My hope for the weekend is that we can get everything crucial to our existence moved in on Saturday. Beds, some clothes, fridge, bathroom stuff, etc. I have a golf tournament on Sunday, so Saturday is the key. I think we could even survive on DVD's for a few days if we get the TV moved. This way, we can get everyone used to the new surroundings before school starts. That's the plan, anyway.

Tom and I won the tournament last Sunday, defending our two-time title. I'm not sure how many years this thing has been running, but eventually they will be forced to rename it the "Keeley-Swan Invitational", won't they?

We have a portable dishwasher for sale, if anyone is interested. Contact me for details. If you don't know how to contact me, well....figure it out.

Now, get back to work!
